CREATIVE PROJECT DIRECTOR: Sádé Budhlall
ILLUSTRATOR: Anusha Jiradani
WORK: Brand Strategy, Brand Identity, Collateral Design
As the creative director and brand designer for Edible Sweetheart Pottery, I developed a brand identity that exudes warmth, loveliness, and a deep connection to handcrafted artistry. The goal was to encapsulate the essence of Rheanna Chen’s small-batch, mindfully made pottery, emphasizing the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship and the human touch.
The concept centered around creating a romantic wordmark complemented by an earthy color palette and enchanting illustrations. I designed the wordmark to embody elegance and simplicity, while the logomark features an illustration by Anusha Jiradani of hands and a meaningful flower that symbolizes Rheanna’s femininity and her connection to handpicked flowers. Together, these elements tell the story behind each piece, aligning the visual identity with the brand’s core values.
Collaborating with Edible Sweetheart Pottery allowed me to create a brand identity that truly reflects the essence of the owner and her artistry. The visual and verbal identity captures Rheanna’s passion for handcrafted pottery and her deep connection to the human story. By combining my design of the wordmark with Anusha Jiradani’s logomark illustration and Sádé Budhlall’s thoughtful tone development, we crafted a brand that resonates deeply with its community, inspiring connection, authenticity, and creativity.
