At SOLA Creative Studio, my wife Sádé and I led this campaign to shift the Red Cross’s image beyond its symbol and highlight the people behind the work. It was about making volunteerism feel more personal and inspiring communities to show up and give back.
The campaign emphasized that the Red Cross isn’t just an emblem but a movement of real people making a difference. Through striking portraits of volunteers, we aimed to show that service is about connection and collective action, not just obligation.
This campaign reinforced my belief that design is about more than aesthetics—it’s a tool for social change. Seeing how the community responded reminded me of the power of storytelling to foster connection and inspire action.
The campaign invited individuals to embrace volunteerism, connecting lives through meaningful service. It fostered awareness and boosted volunteer engagement, setting a new standard for how the Red Cross is perceived in the community.
