PROJECT OVERVIEW

As the creative director and brand designer for Pyua’s rebrand, I set out to create an identity that would fully embody the brand’s dedication to wellness, sustainability, and ethical beauty. Pyua, known for its handcrafted, vegan products, deserved a visual presence that reflected its commitment to cruelty-free practices and natural ingredients. My aim was to craft a brand identity that resonated deeply with its mission to inspire and empower its audience while standing out in the clean beauty market.

THE IDEA

The rebrand was rooted in a desire to highlight Pyua’s authenticity and connection to nature. By utilizing minimalist typography with soft, feminine curves and a palette of warm earthy tones, I focused on creating a balance between elegance and approachability. A stylized leaf element became a key visual motif, symbolizing the organic essence of Pyua’s offerings and its alignment with sustainability.

The overarching vision was to celebrate the beauty in simplicity while maintaining a sense of sophistication that would resonate with modern, conscious consumers.

EXECUTION

  • Brand Identity: I designed a clean, minimalist logo with gentle curves to evoke sophistication and grace. The warm, earthy tones in the color palette were chosen to emphasize Pyua’s organic roots and its commitment to natural beauty. The inclusion of the stylized leaf brought a unique visual marker, tying the brand to its eco-conscious values.
  • Label and Collateral Design: The product labels and marketing materials were developed to be cohesive and impactful. By incorporating the new logo, thoughtful typography, and the earthy tones, I ensured that Pyua’s rebrand was not only visually striking but also reflected the brand’s identity across all touchpoints.

IMPACT & REFLECTION

Rebranding Pyua was a fulfilling project that allowed me to bring the brand’s ethos to life through thoughtful design. The final result beautifully captured Pyua’s dedication to ethical and environmentally conscious beauty, helping the brand connect more deeply with its audience and stand out in a competitive market.

This project was a powerful reminder of how intentional design can transform a brand’s presence and amplify its values. Working on Pyua’s rebrand was a creative challenge that reinforced my belief in the power of branding to tell a story and build meaningful connections.
