My autoethnographic research centres around documenting the cultural practices of communities and groups by building relationships from within, rather than observing from a distance. Through photographic and film practice, I focus on cultural documentation, community, and Carnival traditions.
I believe in long-term intimacy, reciprocity, and co-making. Communities should have their stories seen and heard with care, and that documentation should be shaped by trust, participation, and sustained relationship. For me, my documentation is not only about capturing cultural life, but about supporting communities in telling their own stories on their own terms.
Here’s a selected archive of my documentation practice.
